1989 - "Memorial America Latina"
Realizada en el Yellow Spring de Chester Springs en Filadelfia USA, el 4 de Noviembre de 1989 en el marco del evento "Acciones", una convergencia de artistas y pensadores de las dos Américas organizado por el artista chicano Guillermo Gómez-Peña, Memorial América Latina es una instalación-cum-performance en homenaje a los incontables patriotas latinoamericanos que han caído o "desaparecido" en la lucha por la dignidad de sus pueblos. Básicamente la instalación es un cementerio con cruces hechas con diarios norteamericanos en las cuales se ha colgado la bandera de cada país latinoamericano, incluyendo Puerto Rico. La performance consistió en un minuto de silencio llevado a cabo por el público asistente al caer la noche seguido de incendio de las cruces. En el portal que cierra el cementerio se podía leer; "no están muertos, duermen y sueñan con la libertad".

Realized in Yellow Spring Institute of Chester Springs in Philadelphia, U.S.A. on the 4th November, 1989, in the framework of the evente "Acciones", a convergence of artists and thinkers from the two Americas, organized by the Chicano artist Guillermo Gómez-Peña. Memorial América Latina is an instalation-cum-performance in hommage to countless Latinamerican patriots who have fallen or have "disappeared" in the struggle for the dignity of their people. basically, the instalation is a cementery with corsses made from Northamerican newspapers on which a flag of every Latinamerican country was hung, including Puerto Rico. The performance consited of a minute silence by the assisting public al nightfall, followed by the vurning of the corsses, having previously recovered the flags. In the portal which colses the cementery one can read: "They have not died. They are sleeping and dreaming with the freedom"
