1991 - "Artistas por la Paz"
El 15 de Febrero de 1981 bajo la consigna "Gente en Obra: Artistas por la Paz" un grupo de artistas e intelectuales uruguayos realizó una protesta contra la "Guerra del Golfo" frente al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Montevideo. La acción artístico-social consistió en acostarse en la calle y cubrir los cuerpos con diarios mientras sonaba una sirena. El acto artístico terminó luego de 15 minutos con la entrega de una carta de protesta a las autoridades nacionales.
1991 - "People Working: Artists for Peace"
On the 15th February 1991, under the slogan "People Working: Artists for Peace" a group of Uruguayan artists and intellectuals realized a protest against the "Golf War" in front of the Ministry of Foreing Affairs in Montevideo. The social artistic action consisted of lying down in the street and coverzing the bodies with newspapers while a siren was sounded. The artistical act ended after 15 minutes with the handing over a letter of protest to the national authorities.
